BIOGRAPHY

Vanessa Faloye helps change-maker organisations design and deliver social justice education that builds, agitates, and transforms systems of power. As a freelance international trainer-facilitator, her curricula is rooted in intersectional anti-oppression; systems thinking; and social action. Vanessa travels the world, bridging the local and global, to facilitate workshops and programmes in equity and inclusion for a variety of stakeholders including: community groups; corporates; NGOs and nonprofits, schools (both student and teacher training); and universities including Oxford, Cambridge, SOAS, Queen Mary, University of West London, Bristol, and Kings College University. In addition to and alongside her freelancing, Vanessa works as Co-Director of an online advocacy and youth training organisation, AMP Global Youth. In this permanent role, she leads curriculum design and delivery, business development, and programme management. As someone who is dedicated to education as the practice of freedom, Vanessa's next big work-and-life project is an interdisciplinary curriculum and coaching programme called Radicational, which supports educators, leaders, and youth in unlearning toxicity for a second chance at humanity. With any spare time and breath that she has left over, Vanessa speaks her truth to power through motivational speaking and blogging. Her keynotes and articles not only critically discuss paradigm and pedagogic shifts in social justice but ultimately compel audiences to think bigger and do better in their lives and the lives of others. With much world experience gained along her somewhat unconventional career path, Vanessa has come to wear a number of hats including activist, educator, entrepreneur, and thinker - and will stop at nothing to see the world transformed.
